Phillip Bloom has posted on his web site a series of three lighting tutorials by Eve Hazelton, the DOP for The Underwater Realm project. This project was funded via Kickstarter and Phillip Bloom was even one of the backers. This tutorial was very well done in my opinion. The information is very well presented and you do get a good sense of what is happening. It’s not meant to be a full lighting course and it isn’t, but it gives a real nice understanding of this lighting setup. The other tutorials are also worth checking out.
